Ruede Hagelstein is best known for techno and house. Although his heart beats not only for the bass drum. French electronic musician and film director Quentin Dupieux, best known by his pseudonym Mr. Oizo (pronounced Wah-zoh) is releasing his new album Stade 2 on November 28 via Ed Banger Records and Because Music. Marking his fourth album, Oizo takes his eccentricity to a new level with one of the most intriguing upcoming releases to date. Performed, recorded and mixed at the Edgecliff-Gym Studio while in LA, it combines an eclectic mix of sounds from the digital flute on the track “Ska” to the erratic electro-beats on “Douche Beat” creating a fantastical blend of the unexpected. Previous credits also include the single “Flat Beat” made wildly popular in Europe when used in a series of Levi’s commercials, and selling over 3 million copies of the EP.

The one thing that Paul Rose, better known as Scuba, really doesn’t want you to do is to try and pin him down. His roots are in London’s dubstep scene, but he lives in the techno metropolis of Berlin. His music is located at some unspecified point between those two cities – bass heavy, sparse, full of atmosphere and with propulsive rhythms, but above all impossible to define. A double CD compilation with CD 1 mixed by James Mowbray and CD 2, an unmixed bonus disc, comprising eight tracks from Four:Twenty artists including James Mowbray, Martin Buttrich, Loco Dice and TG. 'Music:02' demonstrates the evolution of not only Four:Twenty and James Mowbray but also the other Four:Twenty artists including Leiam Sullivan, TG, B-Pole, Dani Koenig and Craig Torrance & Philip Hochstrate. All of whom have played an important role in pushing the label's direction and sound over the last year.
